Producer of continuous cast iron bar in gray, ductile & ni-resist grades. Available In rounds, squares, rectangles, tubes & special shapes up to 20 in. in diameter & 24 in. wide. Used in many Industries including fluid power, construction equipment, agricultural, machine tool & automotive. Performance characteristics is an alternative to many grades of carbon steel bar in applications requiring significant machining. Capabilities include fast machining, long tool life, wear resistance, vibration damping, high strength, toughness & ductility. Can be heat-treated, coated & painted. The continuous cast process eliminates typical static cast defects such as shrinkage, porosity & inclusions.
